control

 Please sign a petition created by New York City public school parents
protesting school overcrowding, the mid-year funding cuts, increases in
standardized testing, and Mayoral control of the school system without
oversight.

The petitions are posted at  www.ipetitions.com/petition/pspac
<http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/pspac>  and will be delivered to the New
York State legislators in lieu of Albany Lobby Day.  We plan to gather as
many signatures as possible, and hand-deliver them to the district offices
of state legislators who sit on the education committee.

And please help us to disseminate the petition as widely as possible.
