What's Up with the State Tests and Being a "TSI" School, 8:30am PTA Room

*JOIN THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE *

Every year our school holds elections for the PTA and School Leadership
Team. The nominating committee is responsible for running these elections
and canvassing the school for candidates. The tasks required of nominating
committee members are well-defined and require only a small amount of time
spread out over the next few months. Please contact Peter Liem (
pcl6510 at gmail.com) to join the nominating committee.

We are looking for someone to lead our Pie Day event! Do you love math and
pie ... can you corrall some volunteers and make this fun event happen?

*GIRLS ON THE RUN *

Girls on the Run is coming back for the Spring for girls in 3rd -5th grade
on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.

Your daughter must be able to participate on BOTH days to take part. Online
registration is now open. There is a maximum of 20 spots, so please sign up
as soon as you can. Scholarships are available online when you register.

Join Girls on the Run at The Neighborhood School this Spring!

At Girls on the Run, girls learn life skills through fun, engaging lessons
that celebrate the joy of movement. Trained volunteer coaches use a
research-based curriculum to teach lessons through discussion, activities
and running games. Girls meet twice a week for ten weeks, with the season
concluding with a 5k run/walk that every girl in the program successfully
completes.

The program fee of $350 includes lessons, a program t-shirt and materials
and registration for the Girls on the Run 5k run/walk event. Registration
is available online at gotrnyc.org/register. Scholarships are available
when you register.

Season Details:
· Girls on the Run practice will take place on Tuesday and Thursday from 3
- 4:30 pm beginning on Tuesday March 17.
· Practice will take place at The Neighborhood School. Pickup for all
participants is at The Neighborhood School.
· On inclement weather days, the team will still hold practice indoors.
