[TNS-list] Chickens are coming!!

Hi!

Two hens are coming to visit TNS for a month! They will be living on the
back courtyard beginning around April 10th.

Last year, they were a big hit! Kids got to take turns feeding, petting,
and sometimes even holding the birds. They learned about respecting animals
and this important part of the food chain.

Please consider volunteering to help this year. We need caretakers and
class helpers.

Caretakers come once a week for 4 weeks - for approx 20 minutes - to
provide food and water and to clean the coop. We will be working in pairs.
And, NO knowledge of chickens is required.

Class helpers meet with a class to help them with the chickens. We can find
convenient times for you and the teachers. You should feel comfortable with
the chickens.

Thanks in advance to Leonie, Justine, and Nikki who already volunteered to
help care for the hens.
