Thursday 26th 6:00 PM – Auditorium - TNSPTA "Advocacy Committee" Screening “AUGUST TO JUNE” documentary featuring lastyear of a 30 year career of teacher Amy Valens showing how one unconventionalclassroom puts schoolwork inside a larger picture, bringing into focus abroader vision of what education should and can be. Amy and her film makerhusband, Tom, will be present joining a panel that will include Ann Cook,founder of NYC Urban Academy, and more.
